I must admit that in our household, we almost always have dessert after lunch. It can be fruit, a few dates, or a piece of dark chocolate. My boys often ask for something a bit more elaborate, and since we all love ice cream—and this type of ice cream is incredibly simple and quick to make, using only the healthiest ingredients—it’s often on our menu.
All you need is a bag of frozen raspberries in the freezer and one banana. The banana can be frozen (sliced before freezing), and if you only have a fresh one, that’s no problem either—the consistency of the ice cream will just be slightly softer, which some might even prefer.
Sprinkle the ice cream with some chopped almonds (as in the picture), or with dark chocolate chips, for an even richer taste.
