Rolled Oats with Blueberries

My favourite breakfast for the last five or six years has been mixing rolled oats with flax and chia seeds and fruit – most often blueberries, and soy yoghurt. 🤤😍 The quantity I’ve written here will be enough for one person; for a good, filling breakfast. On days when I’m not very hungry, I reduce the amount of oats and omit or reduce the walnuts, but everything else remains the same.

Rolled Oats with Blueberries – Quick & Delicious Breakfast

Ingredients
  

  • 100 g frozen blueberries
  • 1 tbsp flaxseeds about 10g
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds about 10g
  • 70 g rolled oats
  • 250 g soy yoghurt if possible with live cultures and enriched with calcium
  • 15-20 g walnuts
  • a few goji berries optional

Instructions
 

  • Grind flax and chia seeds in a coffee grinder or blender and add them to a bowl.
  • Add rolled oats, goji berries, and mix everything.
  • Pour soy yoghurt and mix again.
  • Thaw the blueberries and add them into the bowl. Gently mix.
  • Sprinkle walnuts on top. Enjoy 😍

Tips and Info

🤓 Info: Flax and chia seeds are very rich in beneficial omega-3 fatty acids, but to be able to use them, they need to be ground or at least chewed well. Otherwise, they just pass through us 😉.
Blueberries are one of the healthiest fruits, but unfortunately, they’re not always available fresh. Frozen ones are an excellent substitute, and best of all, they’re always available and never spoil. 😀
✨Tip: If you like your oats sweeter, you can add half a banana, half a pear, or simply add more berries. 😃
